SACRAMENTO, CA — Assemblyman Jeff Gonzalez (R-Indio) announced today that his bill, AB 2163, passed off the Assembly Floor with bipartisan support and is now headed to the State Senate for consideration.
AB 2163 would require state agencies to consider the full energy potential of Lithium Valley when making decisions and budget allocations related to California’s energy future, including future development and output in the region.
“Lithium Valley is a major opportunity for our region and our state,” said Gonzalez. “This bill ensures our communities and our energy potential are part of the conversation as California plans for the future.”
